Natural Cigarettes are picking up traction again in 2021, and Crème by Sugar read my mind when they sent me a sample of their new product: Crème Original. They tout it as “The Best Hemp Cigarette“. Those are bold words for a fledgling company. Let’s see if they can back it up.
I realize that I’m hit with waves of excitement as I journey through the experience.
First, the packaging. It’s loud and shouts “COOL!”. They’re definitely starting this relationship off on the right foot. The details are on point, the foil and gloss on matte is just slick, and the 20 pack takes me for a ride down memory lane of of when I used to always have a pack of Camels in my front pocket.
Second, the smokes. Visually appealing, with their brand name printed on the filters these look quality, and matches the packaging perfectly. There is some oil bleed through the paper, but that’s expected when a quality cannabis product meets wrapping paper— those juicy terps won’t be held back!
So far so good, now let’s light this baby up. My thoughts are, subtle sweet taste to the lips, nice smooth drag. In the words of the great Bobby Boucher Jr., “That is some high quality H20”. To be clear, I haven’t tried all of the new hemp offerings other companies are making, but compared to my old flame, Plain Jane, these Crème pre-rolls definitely give them a run for their money.

Third, the feels. It might be the entourage effect, it might be a placebo effect, it might just be the cannabinoids, and maybe its fake just the act of smoking, but this CBD cigarette definitely chills me the F out, while still keeping me clear headed. If i’m going to be completely honest, these pack a little oomph. Oh, hemp cigarettes how i’ve missed you!
Conclusion:
Crème by Sugar is definitely an interesting new product. The sweet tips and the smoothness create a different experience than your typical pre-roll. These CBD cigarettes are more like a dessert to enjoy at the end of your day.
